WORKING TOGETHER

While your team completes the site work, we’re already building your project in our manufacturing facility. This simultaneous process is one way we can reduce your project timeline compared to traditional construction.

POLARIS MODULAR
SCOPE OF WORK

ASSESSMENT & CONTRACT

To get started, send an inquiry to connect with a Project Manager who can learn more about your project. From there, we can make recommendations on modular plans, building methodologies, and the scope of services to match your needs, then move toward your estimate and contract.

You may choose from our available plans or have us bid your own plans. A signed contract and deposit secure your place in our production queue and pay for initial material costs.

MODULAR PERMITTING

Most states have modular building programs, bypassing the needs for local building permits. Our team will take the lead on compliance for state modular building programs, including state or third party plan review and approvals of your architecture and engineering. Upon permit approval, we begin procurement.

PROCUREMENT & MANUFACTURING

Upon permit approval, we begin ordering based off your approved bill of materials and plans. Our station-based manufacturing process takes place with inspections conducted in-facility. Your Project Manager will keep you informed throughout your project via regular manufacturing updates.

TRANSPORTATION

Transit of your modular project is scheduled with your general contractor.

CLIENT SCOPE OF WORK

GENERAL CONTRACTOR

A general contractor will be responsible for your site-specific work, including footings and foundations and utilities. They will also be responsible for, or may sub-contract out, setting and finishing work.

SITE WORK

While we manage procurement and manufacturing, your site work can take place concurrently to reduce project timeline.

INSTALLATION

Once manufacturing is complete, your modular project will be craned onto the foundation and connected to utilities, with final finishes completed.

HOW WE BUILD

Building in our temperature-controlled manufacturing facility allows us to complete projects quickly without taking breaks due to weather conditions and other site disruptions. Modular manufacturing also minimizes the environmental impact of construction due to reduced transportation and site disruption. Due to the precision in our building methods, our construction process results in near-zero waste.

Precise, year-round manufacturing.

Our skilled manufacturing team moves each project through specialized stations on a consistent production schedule, ensuring strict quality control and predictable timelines. Our specialized production line supports both wood and steel, depending on project needs.

Consistency is everything.
